Congratulations to Pablo Sanchez
The West Madison community is strong, and Pablo Sanchez's support of Thunder for the 2025 season exemplifies what it means to give back.
Coach Sanchez brought his own children up through West Madison Little League. After connecting with the Thunder program through business, Coach Sanchez knew he could give back - and give back he has! He has worked with multiple teams and players this season across several divisions. Not only has he helped lead player skill development, he has also helped coach the 12U Gold team.
West Madison Thunder is proud to announce Coach Sanchez as the first-annual April Belshaw Thunder Community Award Winner!
Coach Sanchez's award was presented during the 2025 Thunder Struck tournament when Thunder 12U Blue faced Thunder 12U Gold. Hearing the players erupt in cheers when Coach Sanchez won the award truly speaks to the impact he has provided on the Thunder program.

The April Belshaw Thunder Community Award was created in 2025 to recognize and thank a special individual in West Madison Thunder organization who leads with a community-first mentality.
April Belshaw is one of the founding members of the West Madison Thunder organization. It’s one thing to start a program. It’s another to maintain a program. And it’s something remarkable to grow a program. Any community would be fortunate to have an 'April Belshaw' and we are forever grateful for the stamp she has left on Thunder.
April is the current Memorial High School Girl's Golf Coach and the President of the Memorial High School Athletics Booster Club.
